Teachers day:
|
As per the Hindu Mythology Lord Brahma, Vishnu, Maheswara (Shiva) are the creator
of this universe and we chant the sloka :
Guru Brahma , Gurur Vishnu, Guru devo Maheswara,
Gurur Sakshat para Brahma, tasmai sri guru devo Maheswara !
That means Guru is considered as the representative of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara.
He is the one who provides and sustains knowledge and takes out the weeds of ignorance.
On this very special day, it is a great opportunity to honour such Gurus’. At Lotus,
teacher’s day was celebrated by honouring all the teachers. Students took the role
of the teachers as a part of self-government day. It was followed by many cultural
