PLACEMENT CONSORTIUM

The Placement Consortium trains the student to feel confident, to be expressive and tap their special skills. The College Placement Consortium for the academic year 2013-14 functions under the guidance of Dr. T. Mohanashree, Principal and emphasized the importance of employability skills and also suggested to improve their knowledge by communicating and reading of books and newspaper. In accordance with the theme of Placement Consortium “Enlighted to Enlighten” we have planned to train our students to develop their personality and face interviews through special coaching programmes by eminent personalities. Also our staff members have come forward generously to assist us in this mobile cause. This year 234 students have registered with our Placement Consortium. We have conducted many programs for the students as follows: A guest lecture was organized on personality development by Ms. S.A. Mohana Priya, Mr. A. Udayacenthor from Akshayas. Ms. C. Geetha, Placement Officer provided training to students on group discussion, aptitude test, placement references, and personal development tasks careers in banking and Govt. job. A guest lecture on introduction to placement preparation provided by Ram Mohan Alumini of BITSPILANI and A. Mohammed, Co-Ordinator (361 minds) A workshop on placement training which comprised aptitude test, group discussion, skill knowledge, resume preparation was conducted by Mr. Vallam Rajasekar and Ms. Bharathi. A seminar on Multimedia and Cyber Soft Solution was provided by Mr. Rajkumar & Mr. Ragunatham of Cyber Soft Solution, Chennai. They conducted an aptitude test and selected top 40 students & honoured them with free of cost software course. Campus drive was conducted in our college premises by Hinduja Global Solutions. Ipoint conducted the campus drive particularly for the psychology students 2 of them selected. We are proud to share that many of our students have been placed in leading recruiters like TCS, Accenture, HP Company, Sutherland, SBI Bank, MNC Info Tech, Ipoint, Hapag LIoyd Pvt.Ltd, VERTEX Customer Solution and OPERO Consultancy.
