Bomma Institute of Technology and Science is granted permission by SBTET, Andhra
Pradesh for starting 2nd shift Polytechnic 2009 with EEE, ECE & CSE branches.
Most of the curriculum is taught using modular learning approach to integrate the
academic programs with practical knowledge.
Co-Curricular activities are carried out to promote the intellectual growth of the
students to prone excellence in all fields.
Doing Polytechnic in an engineering college atmosphere enables the student to greater
exposure of technical development in his career.

IGNOU – Vertically Integrated Engineering Program
|

|
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) was established in 1985 by
an Act of Parliament, with a view to democratize education and reaching the unreached.
IGNOU has now emerged as the largest University in the world.
IGNOU initiated Vertically Integrated Engineering Programme (VIEP) to create a system
of education that allows students a greater choice in education. This Programme
allow students who have passed the 10th Standard, 12th Standard Examinations and
also those who already hold ITI certificates, Diploma, B.Sc., BCS, BCA or equivalent,
to pursue a higher qualification starting from Advanced Certificate, Diploma and
going up to Bachelor’s Degree in Technology.
Out of 150 centers across the country Bomma Institute of Technology & Science is
one study center for IGNOU-Vertically Integrated Engineering Programme.
