Parent-School-Management
|
|
The co-operation between parent and school management is highly essential to establish
discipline and maintain standards. Parent Teacher Meeting are held every month to
discuss about the program of every child.

Parent-Orientation Programs are organized to discuss various important aspects of
the school, Education system and related issues. School gives an opportunity and
creates a platform to express their views and thoughts. Parents will enjoy cordial
relationship with all the members of the school to develop understanding to realize

Value based Program(A Lesson In Value Education) is a smart way of introducing value

- A total of fifteen sessions per class will be delivered during an academic year.
- Each session will be conducted by our own highly skilled and trained facilitators.
- Each session will be for duration of one period.

The curriculum, teaching methods, assessment, and evaluation are Carefully planned,
by a team of experts after careful examinations. The same will be reviewed and updated
every year. The NCERT curriculum frame work “Learning without burden” is being adopted
while designing the curriculum. More emphasis is given to skill development. The

The Hindu NIE:-NEWS PAPER IN EDUCATION

The Hindu NIE
True education is not the mundane learning of facts and figures, but encompasses
an all round development of a students’ personality. In keeping with this view,
The Times of India pioneered the Newspaper in Education (The Hindu NIE) program
in India.
The Hindu NIE, was honored with a prestigious international award in the “New Brand,
Product and Audience Development” category at the INMA Awards 2008. This award felicitates
outstanding performance in the field of constructing the most unique program for
the youth community. In 2006, too, The Hindu NIE had been honored with two outstanding
awards by the World Association of Newspaper (WAN) viz. The Hindu NIE – World’s
No. 1 The Hindu NIE program and The Times of India Student Edition – World’s No.
1 newspaper for the youth.
The Hindu NIE Student Edition
The The Hindu NIE, is a customized Students Edition with special features in terms
of customized new content that cover a variety of topics ranging from News, Business,
School Issues, Career, Sports, Style, Entertainment and more. We are delighted to
offer you the The Hindu NIE program for the academic session 10-11. The highlights
of the program are as follows:
School Reporters and Star Correspondents
The Hindu NIE Student members who have a flair for writing and cherish a dream to
be a journalist, are given a chance to be ‘School Reporters’. Two school reporters
are appointed from each member school. The reporters will report school news, events,
activities and achievements to NIE. In an attempt to appreciate the efforts of these
toddling journalists, Times-NIE felicitates the “Top 10 School Reporters” and the
“Star Correspondents” at the Newsmakers’ Meet.
The The Hindu NIE Film Fest
The Hindu NIE Film is a combination of entertainment and learning that showcases
a series of contemporary films, both informative and entertaining. The fest attracts
over a few thousand students at every The Hindu NIE centre.
The Hindu NIE Events
The Hindu NIE hosts interesting events for the students to showcase their talents,
which were categorized as ‘Intra School’ activities like workshops and ‘Inter School
activities’ The Hindu NIE Fundamental Quiz, The Hindu NIE Colour Splash, The Hindu
NIE FunFest, etc.

Leadership Opportunities:
|
The school has a unique system of self-governance through such committee as the
school council, the students will get opportunities to plan, organize, execute and
exhibit various events and activities of the school. They will have an opportunity
to bring their ideas to the team heads, and experience the collaborative working
and learning. The process of sharing and understanding, managing etc is made possible
“Discipline and getting the job done” is left to the boys & girls of the council.
The students will participate in various activities like debating, presentations,
event management, seminars, mock parliament Etc. The students will undergo various
personality development programs and keep updating their skills. Master Lotus and
Miss Lotus will be selected every year,
The students need to undergo a series of screening tests which will test various
skills among them, Such activities will help them to refine themselves.

House activities :
|
|
To inculcate the leadership qualities there are three groups i.e, Jasmine , Rose
and Daffodil. These houses help the students to come out with innovative ideas and
have competitive ness within themselves. There are various activities conducted
in this academic year . The activities are in the field of sports, culture and literature.
The houses have also planned for more upcoming events in the coming academic year.
